Feisdon Bach

'Feisdon Bach' is a picturesque, detached traditional Welsh cottage, built in approx. 1700. It is situated in a very private, rural setting, approached down its own leafy lane in a very unspoiled and peaceful area of Anglesey and looks out over uninterrupted views across to the Snowdonia Mountains.

Feisdon Bach is ideally situated for walking, golf, pony-trekking, fishing and bird watching. Malltraeth Cob and Newborough Forest are both nearby. Indeed the world famous artist Charles Tunnicliffe lived most of his life in Malltraeth where he painted his famous studies of sea birds.

There is a fine choice of beaches at Malltraeth, Llandwyn, Aberffraw, Cable Bay for swimming, picnics and surfing etc. In fact the island has a 125 mile coastline of a most varied and interesting character.

You are ideally located for visiting the Snowdonia National Park and the historic castles of Beaumaris and Caernarfon. Holyhead Port is also convenient for trips to Ireland.

Whilst retaining its 'cosy cottage' atmosphere and comfort, there are modern facilities in both bathroom and kitchen. The beamed sitting room has an open coal/log fire, TV and radio and there is a separate dining room. The kitchen has 'Doulton' pine fitted units, electric cooker, microwave, fridge and iron etc. The bathroom/toilet also has a shower and electric shaver unit. There are two bedrooms, one with double bed, one twin beds, duvets and bed linen are provided.

All the downstairs rooms are heated by storage heaters, the bedrooms have wall panel heaters. Also included in the rental is electricity (maximum £15) coal and logs.

Because of the above facilities the cottage is ideal for Winter/Autumn and Spring holidays/breaks. The enclosed garden has a lawn and patio area with ample parking both to the front and rear of the cottage.

Directions

Cross Britannia Bridge and along A5, turn left at B4419 (after Gaerwen) and continue to Newborough, then turn right onto A4080 to Malltraeth. From Malltraeth village drive half mile up the hill, leaving the Royal Oak Inn on the left. Turn into the first lane on the right. This is a single track tarmac surface lane with passing places, it bends right and then left, continue along and immediately before a large bungalow with a low white wall, turn left into private lane to Feisdon Bach.
